One Nation Cup 2013 - Event information
According to the motto, the One Nation Cup is a lot more than just a football tournament. With a history of three great festivals- 2006 and 2011 in Bremen, and 2008 in Durban, South Africa- the teams meet again to play football and win friends from every continent, especially from Izmir.
Today the teams German teams and Switzerland dispeled any doubts about their being in the finals from the first minute. Germanies boys won China 8:0, Switzerland bet Japan 5:0 and the German girls played Russia 6:0. The Turkish team beat New Zealand 2:1, but was lucky that the referee decided foul play when New Zealand scored the draw.
Finals will be played Friday 24th of May from 9.00 - 13.00 h at the premises of Buca Spor. In the evening match of Bucaspor vs. Konyaspor the One Nation Cup will attend to support the Izmir team.
